Our client, a growing craft brewery with a thriving taproom business and distribution that extends across several states, is hiring for a newly created role of
Business Manager based on-site at their brewery in the
Tulsa, Oklahoma region.
The ideal candidate will be an
experienced manager with prior experience working in the beverage industry. You will be a driven self-starter and solution-oriented, ready to take on new challenges. This role will give you the ability to have both general oversight of business management responsibilities as well as the opportunity to build and form relationships on the sales/distribution side of the business.
Responsibilities:- Build and execute the brewery’s sales strategy in order to grow and solidify distribution business, focusing specifically on the key and chain account relationships
- Implement sales plans that have been developed to grow/build business in other states and build strong partner relationships with these key/chain accounts
- Lead and manage key team members and consultants, including managers of the taproom, production, distribution, sales and accounting; help create a collaborative culture across all departments
- Responsible for oversight of general business systems including accounting, taxes, insurance, and contracts
- Work with owners to manage the budget process and ensure that costs are minimized and managed effectively
- Assist in promotion of taproom, off-site events and sponsorships, and event strategies to market brand and taproom space
- Define, monitor, and report progress against key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain systems of reviews and accountability for all employees and managers
