This is a hybrid role, supporting both our Retail and On-Premise accounts. On the Retail side, you will build and maintain relationships with store level decision makers. Using data, influence, and a consultative approach to secure new product listings, additional facings, premium shelf placement and discretionary displays. Ensure optimal distribution of existing and new products in accordance with our distribution guidelines. Educate staff about our products and conduct sampling/training sessions as required.

With the On-Premise side, you will work with strategic partners where our target consumers will engage with Beau’s brands. You’ll help to plan distribution, brand activations and consumer engagement initiatives to increase brand equity and sales. Reps will work with partners to educate their teams about Beau’s products and to ensure they get to learn about our tasty beers!

Key Responsibilities Retail LCBO/GROCERY/TBS
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in each retail channel.
  • Maintain a regular call cycle and prioritize facetime with high revenue outlets.
  • Use data to ensure the right product mix and formats are present in each channel/banner.
  • Optimize Beau’s visibility by ensuring premium shelf/fridge placement, strategic product grouping (brand blocking) and discretionary display placement.
  • Increase overall distribution in each channel through consultative and fact-based selling.
  • Conduct staff tastings and training to build in-store Beau’s brand ambassadors.When allowed again.
  • Ensure promotional campaigns are executed with excellence and trackednappropriately
  • Work to sell into agency stores
  • Log daily activities in CRM.
  • Manage your travel and expense budget.
  • Support and contribute to overall team objectives and dynamics.
  • Merchandising as required.
Key Responsibilities On-Premise
  • Manage marketing support budget
  • Manage travel and expense budget
  • Manage new product launches in accordance with the new product roll out strategy
  • Execute promotional programs as per regional strategies
  • Complete account surveys and collect competitive information from the field
  • Log all field activity through CRM
  • Function cooperatively and effectively with team members
  • Contribute to overall team objectives and dynamics
  • On-going account base evaluation and territory analysis
  • Completes corporate objectives as assigned by manager
  • Analyse and assess event opportunities within territory geography. Prepare recommendations for events which will enhance brand awareness and drive revenue.
  • Manage all aspects of event execution.
  • Performs other duties, as required.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of field sales experience, preferably in beverage alcohol retail
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Possesses a reliable vehicle and a clean G Driver's License
  • A genuine passion for craft beer
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Ability to effectively execute sales plans
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Personable and outgoing
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as required
Work Conditions
  • Interacts with employees, management, customers, and the public at large.
  • Work location will primarily be in your territory, with occasional domestic travel.
  • Evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Ability to work from home office.
  • Ability to lift 50 LBS as occasional beer transport will be required.
