A client of ours, Two Roads Brewery www.tworoadsbrewery.com one of the country’s top breweries, is seeking Shift Brewers and Cellar Techs to add to their  growing, exciting company. We have been retained to assist them in their efforts to secure the most qualified candidate.

Two Roads Brewing Company is seeking individuals to join the brewing team of a growing brewery that is now ranked 50th in the country out of over 7,500.  They offer tremendous learning and growth opportunities in a state-of-the-art facility with a dedicated training department to help your skills grow rapidly.  Two Roads produces a full range of ale, lager, barrel aged, and sour beers on a 10 acre campus featuring two brewing facilities in the coastal New England town of Stratford, CT mid-way between New York City and Boston.  

Shift Brewer
This position requires at least 3 years of experience at a production brewery. The primary responsibility of the Shift Brewer is to oversee all wort production in a 100 barrel automated brewhouse.  The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of brewing science and a variety of practical experience.  Experience with brewery automation software is preferred.  A Shift Brewer must also be proficient in all cold-side cellar operations including separation/filtration, CIP, dry hopping, transfers, and barrel-racking.  The ability to multitask effectively and think critically in a fast paced environment is a must.  This position requires working on a rotating 24x7 schedule.

Cellar Technician
The primary responsibility of the Cellar Technician is to oversee all cold-side operations including separation, CIP, dry hopping, transfers, and barrel racking among many other tasks.  Working brewery experience or a diploma from a comprehensive brewing education program is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of brewing science, a passion for making beer, and a variety of food or beverage related experience.  The Cellar Technician must coordinate with the Brewing, Packaging, and Quality staff to effectively manage the processing of beer to meet the demands of the production schedule.  Secondary responsibilities may include assistance in hot-side wort production.  This is an entry level position.  A focused, intelligent, and hardworking individual will be able to advance quickly in this position.  This position requires working on a rotating 24x7 schedule.
