Swedesboro Brewing Company (SBC) was co-founded by Marvin Bowe and Kevin Bain in 2020, originating from their passion for craft beer and decades of experience in home brewing. Like many brewery owners, they didn’t begin their careers in the brewing industry. Marvin fostered a 20-year career in advertising and marketing, leading several agencies as a Creative Director, whereas Kevin cultivated a 20-year career as a healthcare professional, serving as a lead Scientist and Researcher for several companies.
 
It has been said that craft brewing resides at the intersection of art and science. Meeting at these crossroads, our creative and scientific founders are determined to break the mold. Together, their creative expertise and scientific acumen have shaped our mission to craft beer that is steeped in the tradition of brewing (scientific) yet tells a story and pays homage to the unique history of our community (creative). Suffice to say, our founders are as multifaceted as the beer we are brewing. At the intersection where they meet is where you will find SBC.
